This Annual Report covering the period July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019 has been prepared to fulfill the statutory obligation under the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services Act, 2008. The Section 17 of the Act asks the Board of Governors (BOG’s) to submit to the Parliament an Annual Report containing the activities of the Institute during a year. The Report shall also highlight the objects of at the Act achieved by the Institute and shall also give a picture of the finances of the Institute. Section 11 (c) of the Act assigns the function of preparing the report and submission to the Board of Governors (BOG’s) to the Executive Director. The Section 7(k) empowers the Board to approve and submit Annual Report of the Institute to the Parliament.
The Report briefly illustrates the activities and accomplishments of the institute during the year 2018-19. During the year in focus the Institute achieved its various objectives under the guidance of the BOG’s.
