Inauguration of 4th National Management Development Course (1st Nov to 15th Dec, 2017)

    November 01, 2017: Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services commenced the 4th National Management Development Course, for the officers in grade 17 and 18, working in the Secretariats of National Parliament and Provincial assemblies. The program was inaugurated by honorable Senator Mr. Farhat ullah Babar, who emphasized upon the Officers to build their capacities as ambassadors of Parliament and to live up to the challenges posed to the democracy. Spanned over a period of seven weeks, the program aims at building the Parliamentary business skills of 19 parliamentary functionaries in the disciplines of Parliamentary Communication, Rules of Business, Legislative and Non-Legislative Business and Managing Self and People, to name a few. More than 30 eminent faculty members from the National parliament as well as from corporate sector have been engaged, who will be using multi-pronged learning strategies comprising of lectures, case studies, practicums, visits and audio visual Aids, in order to share their knowledge and professional experiences. The course will continue till December 15, 2017.
