    Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services organized a session on “Working of Parliament” for delegation of Mir Chakar Khan Rind Inter College District Khichhi Balochistan on March 26, 2019 at its main Campus in Islamabad. The delegation comprised of around 20 faculty members and students enrolled at intermediate level in various disciplines. 


    The session was moderated by Ms. Fakiha Mahmood, Research Officer PIPS, which began with the National Anthem followed by recitation of verses from Holy Quran. She welcomed the participants and invited Director General (Research & Legislation) Mr. Muhammad Rashid Mafzool Zaka for his presentation on working of Parliament. Mr. Zaka highlighted the basic principles of democracy and good governance. He emphasized the importance of dialogue and tolerance for ensuring peace and harmony in the society. He underscored the fundamentals of constitution and parliament for better understanding of the students. 


    The session was followed by a brief Q&A session in which the participants were provided the opportunity to raise questions on the topic under discussion. Mr. Zaka presented a set of PIPS publications to the Head of Delegation. The event ended with group photo with the participants.
