A thirty five member delegation of Faculty and students of University of Engineering and technology Lahore visited Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services Islamabad and Parliament House on the invitation of Honourable Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday, November 23 , 2016 .
During their visit to PIPS, Executive Director Mr Zafarullah Khan welcomed the Faculty and Students of UET Lahore and gave them a briefing on the importance of Parliament and working of Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services. It was followed by an inter-active session by Mr. Muhammad Rashid Mafzool Zaka, Director Research and IT Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services, who explained the triangular relationship of Constitution , Parliament and State building. He briefed the visiting students that first seven articles of the Constitution and the concept of Shura and key fundamentals of Constitution: Islam, welfare state, federalism, independence of judiciary and parliamentary democracy were also elucidated. Brain storming activity was also the part of this session. UET Faculty member Miss Neelam thanked Director Research and IT Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services Mr. Muhammad Rashid Mafzool Zaka for his motivational session and PIPS for their exemplary hospitality. At the end of the session everyone felt proud of Parliament of Pakistan and raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad to show their patriotism and love for the country .The faculty and students of University of Engineering and technology had a memorable group photo with the Executive Director Mr. Zafarullah Khan, and PIPS faculty including Mr. Muhammad Rashid Mafzool Zaka , Ms. Samer Awais, Mr. Mir Shai Mazar Baloch, Ms Tehseen Khalid, SRO and Mr Muhammad Rizwan Manzoor. Later on the students and faculty members proceeded to the Parliament House to witness the Session of National Assembly of Pakistan.
