Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services organized a three-day orientation training course for the newly inducted officers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Secretariat from 3^rd to 5^th May, 2023. A total number of thirteen officers of the KP Assembly Secretariat attended the training. The purpose of the training was to acquaint and develop the nascent parliamentary research skills of the officers. The Programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by welcome remarks from Director Parliamentary Development Program & Coordination Mr. Waqas Ahmed Qureshi who gave a brief outline of the course.  The three day training comprised of sessions on developing effective writing skills, orientation on parliamentary research products as well as highlighting the  best standards, sources utilized for Parliamentary research and the correct referencing techniques used in parliamentary research. On the concluding day participants delivered group presentations relevant to the topics assigned to them by the Facilitator. The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony by Worthy Executive Director, Mr. Muhammad Anwar and Director General PDP, Ms. Samer Awais.
