PIPS Economy Desk continued its pre-budget sessions with a seminar in which around 75 MPAs, and parliamentary functionaries participated. The first session on Economy of Pakistan – opportunities and situational analysis was conducted by Dr Waseem, Assistant Professor, QAU followed by Budget Rules of Procedures in Punjab presentation by Secretary Provincial Assembly of Punjab Rai Babur. Budget Process and ADP analysis was presented by Mr Muhammad Adnan Azeem, Senior Accounts Officer at the Accountant General Pakistan. The programme was partially supported by Westminster Foundation for Democracy WFD. Ms Samer awais, Director Training PIPS was Master of Ceremony and presented the vote of thanks in the conclusion while Mr Muhammad Rizwan Manzoor, Research Officer, provided the organizational support.
