In continuation of the series of events aimed at highlighting the importance of Constitution and Parliament among the youth of Pakistan, PIPS organized a seminar on Constitution, Parliament and State building, at Islamabad College of Arts and Science. A highly interactive session was conducted by Ms Tehseen Khalid (Senior Research Officer) on the subject. Then, Mr Kashif Mehmood Tariq (Deputy Director Legislation) gave a brief introduction of Constitution of Pakistan explaining its salient features. In order to inculcate the democratic and constitutional values in the emerging generation of this nation the importance of Constitution and Parliament was impressively highlighted during both presentations. Later on a quiz competition was arranged by Mr Muhammad Rizwan Manzoor (Research Officer) where prizes were given to the students upon correct answers. Ms Meera Malik (Director School Development & Outreach Program, ICAS) presented vote of thanks to PIPS, which was followed by a brief ceremony in which Ms Tehseen Khalid and Mr Kashif Mahmood presented shield to the ICAS Principal Ms Nusrat Tahir on behalf of Executive Director, PIPS. The seminar was moderated by Mr Shehryar Khan (Research Officer). PIPS team included Ms Tehseen Khalid, Senior Research Officer, Mr. Kashif Mahmood Tariq, Deputy Director Legislation, Mr Shehryar Khan, Research Officer, and Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Manzoor, Research Officer.
