Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services Acting Executive Director was invited for an interactive session with Country Heads and leading international partners at JICA in Serena UN Complex at 2 pm to 330 pm on Jan 28, 2016. Ms Naziya Seher, Head Gender JICA welcomed and introduced PIPS. Mr Muhammad Rashid Mafzool Zaka, Acting Executive Director/ Director Research spoke of Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) – gender inclusion, capacity building role and challenges. Around 20 representatives from UN, UNFPA, UNESCO, FAO, WHO, WFP, JICA, Australian High Commission, CIDA, Canadian High Commissioner took keen interest in the absorbing session followed by Question and Answer Session. The session concluded with acknowledgement of PIPS as a valued national institution of its kind and international partners and donors reiterated to be part of PIPS initiatives to provide technical support for participation of Members of Parliament in informed knowledge based interventions in future. Mr Shehryar Khan, Research Officer presented voted of thanks to the audience.
