Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services organized the “National Conference on Education Reform” in collaboration with Pakistan Coalition for Education (PCE) and IDEAS. The Conference began with welcome remarks from Executive Director PIPS, Mr. Mahmood Salim Mahmood. Session one consisted of panel discussion moderated by Ms. Amina Sayeed, Education Researcher and Chairperson PCE, with panelists including government representatives from four provinces and Islamabad. During session two, Mr. Saeed-ul-Hassan, Head of Girls’s Education Oxfam GB, moderated the panel which comprised of Education experts and representatives of civil society. Ms. Rashida Dohad, Executive Director Omar Asghar Khan Foundation, moderated the panel during third session, whose participants included representatives from all major political parties of Pakistan. The Conference ended with Key note address by Honorable Minister for Federal Education and Professional Education, Mr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman.
