As per its business, Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) conducted an Expert Hearing on Draft Elections Bill, 2017 on January 11, 2017. The event was organized by Pakistan Institute for Pakistan Services in collaboration with Democracy Reporting International (DRI). The participants of the Hearing included 11 Honorable Parliamentarians from the Senate and National Assembly of Pakistan, civil society, journalists and technical experts, and shared their experience on how the Electoral Reforms Bill had evolved and what was the probable payback in the upcoming elections from transparency and fairness perspective.
