The Monthly coordination meeting of PIPS and Mustehkam Parlimaan (IP-5) was held on January 24, 2025, focusing on strengthening collaboration and planning future initiatives. The meeting started with the brief introduction of the newly appointed Executive Director PIPS, Mr. Asim Khan Goraya by Deputy Director (CB&D). Mr. Asim Khan Goraya, warmly welcomed the Mustehkam Parliman (IP-5) team led by Ms. Margie Cook. ED PIPS also shared his vision for fostering innovation within Parliamentary processes. Later on, Ms. Margie Cook provided briefing on the IP-5 Project, outlining its progress and key objectives. She discussed the upcoming study tour to the Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) of the Austria and Ireland, promising to deliver valuable insights for the participants of the tour. She gave an update on the extension of Mustehkam Parlimaan project Phase 2 highlighted its future milestones. The LMS project, jointly run by PIPS and Mustehkam Parlimaan was to be extended for one year. The meeting concluded with commitment from both PIPS and Mustehkam Parlimaan teams to continue the close coordination for better service delivery to all the legislatures of Pakistan.
